My brother is getting MARRIED!!!
With all this traveling, I've really missed my family. I felt truly blessed to be able to be at the bridal shower and bachelorette party of my soon-to-be sister, Rebecca.
We had a luncheon in Philadelphia to celebrate the bride-to-be, complete with delicious food, nice conversation with family and friends, and of course, the ever-so-popular bridal shower games.
Question: Why is it that everyone becomes so much more girly at a bridal shower? So much "ooh"ing and "ah"ing that just doesn't happen in real life. Estrogen-levels peak when the gifts are opened, and everyone marvels at the new things that the couple will use to build their home together.
I tried to get in on the hoopla. "Wow, those dishtowels will look really great with your...toaster?"
Maybe I'll just stick to taking pictures.

Next, we surprised Rebecca with a bachelorette party in Atlantic City, NJ!
Atlantic City: Boardwalk with a sea breeze and prime people-watching opportunities...Young, fun, slightly sketchy crowd... Lots of cheap bars and dance clubs, reeking of cologne and poor decisions. The perfect location for a bachelorette party!
After getting upgraded to two executive suites, we hit the town for a delicious dinner and dancing the night away...
Congrats, Rebecca!
